1/09/10 St. Nick's Nordic Festival hosted by the Lone Mountain Ranch
A day filled with outdoor winter fun for the whole family! Recently named the #1
Nordic Ski Center in the country, Lone Mountain Ranch will be holding it's annual
festival geared toward getting everyone out and enjoying the trails with cross country
skis or snowshoes. A $5 fee allows access to the trails, as well as ski and snowshoe

1/17/09 Sno-Ball hosted by the Big Sky Resort
Enjoy watching regional professionals carve their ice masterpieces, while kids help
form snow features. Other activities include a bouncer room for children and ski
and snowboard demos. When the sun goes down the event transforms into a party
held in the Sno-Bar, which is designed with walls, a bar, tables and benches all
formed out of snow. Dance the night away until the fireworks show caps off this

Get ready for a day of crashes and laughs as local and regional teams design and
decorate the best crash test dummies. The day will begin with creativity judging in
the plaza followed by a quick lift up the mountain where the dummies are launched
off a kicker on the Ambush headwall. The dummies will then be judged on style,

3/12/10 RUST - Rails Under The Stars hosted by the Big Sky Resort
A popular night time event where skiers and snowboarders go big for this competition.
A 15 foot tall quarter pipe, pumping music and cheering crowds make for an exciting
